Great product, makes the house super comfortable

We had a company replace our 50 year old boiler and they did a poor job. No one would even reccomend outdoor reset, and our new boiler was condensing (not supposed to!) so I decided to replumb it myself with this valve. I wanted it for energy savings and boiler protection, but I never realized how awesome it made the house feel. It's always comfortable throughout the house and the valve works like a charm. A little complicated to plumb in tight spaces with copper, but totally worth the price. Very glad we got this valve.

works ,but needs tweeking

4 way mix for my slab heat in 1200sf shop, works as intended BUT you have to play with it ie> their is no "low temp",0-110 deg on a warm day (over 25 or so) you have to "reset it -or it will just "turn the water in the slab" without adding heat! and the sensors must be placed right on a metal surface NO PEX (in stall coupling to fasten it to for better readings) it works but the temps do rise a fall more than I think it should ..taco should redo the circuit board and place a low end on the 100 circuit

Works well and as advertised

Used to control temperature of supply water to 3 zone in-floor radiant heating system in a 2000 sq ft home. Valve is wired directly to a 24V AC power source, have not observed any issues with having the valve constantly powered. The valve works well, responds quickly to changes in supply or return water temperature, and appears to control temperature accurately based on my downstream thermometers. Outdoor reset responds accordingly. Did not evaluate the boiler protection feature, as I have a separate device controlling return water temps to my boiler. Installation and setup is easy for a competent DIYer. Kudos to PexSupply as being the only place I could find this valve IN STOCK and ready to ship.

Really works!

This valve works great, but you must mount it in the correct orientation. There is only one way to mount it. But it returns correct water temperature to the boiler and also sends the right temperature to the concrete floor.

Q: What controls the 15 degree night set back on the I series temp valve

The setpoint target is lowered by 15ºF whenever there is a contact closure across the SETBACK and SENSOR COMMON terminals. If a timer or setback device is used, connect the device across the SETBACK and SENSOR COMMON terminals on the iSeries-S. Setback is used to provide energy savings by lowering the target temperature.
