The ViegaPEX Press Starter Kit is great for a DIY or professional looking to get started with PEX Plumbing or the PEX Press System specifically.
This kit contains the following products:

- 56000 - Starter PEX Press Tool Set, 1/2" & 3/4" Press Tools (1): Includes 1/2" and 3/4" PEX Press tools and basic tubing cutter in a convenient carrying case. Allows the user to quickly begin installing the Viega PEX Press System.
- 93020 - Zero Lead Bronze 1/2" PEX Press Coupling w/ Attached Sleeve (25): These couplings mate two sections of PEX tubing with the press connection. Used for repairing damaged sections or connecting long runs.
- 93040 - Zero Lead Bronze 3/4" PEX Press Coupling w/ Attached Sleeve (25): See 93020 (above) for description.
- 93520 - Zero Lead Bronze 1/2" PEX Press Elbow w/ Attached Sleeve (25): Use elbows for making 90 degree press connections in PEX Tubing runs.
- 93540 - Zero Lead Bronze 3/4" PEX Press Elbow w/ Attached Sleeve (25): See 93520 (above) for description.
- 32221 - 1/2" Blue ViegaPEX 100 ft. coil (1): ViegaPEX Tubing is manufactured to ASTM F876/F877 standards and listed to ANSI/NSF Standards 14 and 61. It is chlorine resistance rated for both traditional (CL-TD) and continuous recirculation (CL-R) applications. ViegaPEX Tubing is rated at 100 psi and 180 degrees F and 160 psi at 73 degrees F and is available in red, blue, and white.

Q: I am thinking of retrofitting my attic plumbing from Galvanized to PEX and was wondering if this starter kit will provide enough PEX tube and supplies to cover the entire house, or would I need to order more PEX tubing. This comes with 100' pairs of 1/2" and 3/4". I will be using a home run system and have 15 lines to run and drop. House sq ft is approx 1500. With the home run system I am looking to eliminate the need for any joints, or splits and would if possible run the lines direct from point a to point b.

Verified Reply- PexSupply StaffIf you're using a home run system, this starter pack may not include enough 1/2" tubing. It comes with longer lengths of 3/4" tubing, which are more necessary when you use a "trunk and branch" piping method.
