4 QuestionsQ: Will TruFLOW Visual Flow Meters work on my older model A254322 Uponor(Wirsbo) manifold? A second question. How do I know which flow meter to use, the standard flow visual meter or the high flow-rate visual meter? Thanks for any assistance.

Verified Reply- PexSupply StaffAccording to the manufacturer, all of their manifolds stay true to the R-20 connection for the loop connections. To answer your question, yes they will fit their older 1 1/4 Brass manifold.
Yes they will work. I added them to a 5 loop system with what must be an older model manifold as it did not have the flow meters. They attached with little effort. I had to shorten my return lines by the length of the flow meter and I was in business. I used the regular flow meter 0.15 to 0.8 gpm and flow about 0.5 gpm on all five loops. Makes it real easy to balance the system. John Neydon
Q: how do you read the flow meter? From the bottom of the yellow, or at the top where the spring makes a line across the yellow?

Verified Reply- PexSupply StaffNo, this unit can not be used as a stand alone unit. The thread type on the flow meter is specific to the Uponor radiant heat manifolds.
Q: My current manifold flow meters are completely clouded by the boiler water and I can't read them. If I were to use these flow meters, are they easily cleaned?
