Description

NoKink is used when installing air conditioning units when connecting either the evaporator or condenser unit and is ideal for DMSS especially when connecting the evaporator unit.
It allows the contractor to easily install the refrigerant lines coming out of the wall to the DMSS evaporator. It prevent refrigerant line from kinking and allows for an easier installation saving time and labor costs. Each NoKink has a 3" long copper end for easier flaring. It has an operating pressure rating of up to 600PSI.

I would stay away from this product
I used these to help with an LG mini-split install in an old house. After the install was complete, the mini-split was making a horrible ringing noise. I had several HVAC techs come inspect it, and even had LG support on the phone to try to diagnose the noise. No one was able to pinpoint it, so I started replacing parts starting with the lineset. I bought a second set of these and the ringing noise got worse. I ending up buying a quality tubing bender and used lineset quick connect fittings with solid copper lineset and the noise went away. The flexible part of these lines are ribbed and as the refrigerant passes through at different pressures it causes them to ring.
