I have been using these Aqua-Pure filters on my well for many years and they do a very good job of removing sediment in my double-sump whole house filter. I used to buy the individual filters and stack them but have found that this AP100-2 is much easier to install and is just as effective. Also, SupplyHouse does a great job of processing my orders and shipping them right out. The last time I ordered, I placed the order in the evening and the parts shipped that night and were delivered the next day..... outstanding!

Have been using these for years in my whole house filter and very satisfied with how it performs.

Take a look at the picture. Filter on the right was used for 6 months. All that rust/sediment was successfully filtered out of my hones main water supply.

I use these for refills on a 3M stainless housing. The customer has this on a whole home with a drilled well supply. It's a 3 full bathroom all in with 7 total sinks. Their 3 kids and 2 adult scenario has them using water with baths/showers/drinking water and I'm told a ridiculous amount of laundry to keep country living dirt at bay. They have a couple deadbeat dogs that are usually bathed so there's some more H2O. Point is the filter lasts them 6-9 months. I have yet to check pressure drop to know when dirty but plan to add gage upgrade for pressure drop to optimize change out schedule. Outside water does not run through the filter.
