Water Heater Replacement Thermodisc Control
The best part about the control panel was the instructions for installing the control panel. I removed the old panel and installed the new panel in less that 30 minutes. Flipped the breaker on and the green light came on and it has stayed green ever since. As before the water is hot.

Don't be so quick to replace your hot water heater!
If your hot water heater uses this thermodisc board, don't be so quick to replace the whole heater. Took ten minutes to replace and we have hot water again! If the light on it, has gone out all together, consider changing out the electronic board, the Whirlpool heater is dependable. And be sure to change the anode rod in the heater, that collects corrosive particals that corrode the tank. We are very pleased with the two we have. Hot water tanks have more than doubled in price since we installed these 16 yrs. ago.
