Not an exact replacement
Not sure why it's so hard to find parts for my AO Smith gas water tank. I ordered this as I needed just the door switch but unfortunately this has a different method of connecting so I would need to use the entire part now. My next concern is I currently have a thermopile and this came with a thermocouple. I don't know if I can just switch them. Again I'm not sure why finding correct replacement parts for my assembly is so difficult. Nothing wrong with the quality here, just it does not exactly replace what I have.
