Works great and direct fit.
This heating element fit the water heater perfectly once the old one was removed. Great that it came with new gasket. one less thing to hunt around for.

I bought 2 of these elements as direct replacement for my 5 years old, Kenmore 80 gallon water heater. Not too expensive. Installed both in 15 min with Camco socket. Work great!

So far these elements work as good as the original ones. I usually get about 5 years out of a set (lots of calcium in our water) so time will tell.
