perfect replacement
Perfect match. worked great. Only downside was initial order was incorrect part and had to be returned which required me to pay return postage. The web site is very limited on part description and although it listed the burner assembly for the model AO smith hot water heater it was the incorrect part and I had to call tech support to confirm that was the incorrect part. Good service, good prices, very poor web site. I strongly suggest not relying on the web site unless you have the specific part number and can confirm it against their part number.

Easy replacement
Don't mess around with trying to change the thermocouple and pilot fittings, just buy this. Drop-in replacement. I was done with the swap in 20 min. Everything fired up and we now have hot water. The old burner was not as efficient due to age.
