I cannot recommend this product
The builder of my house installed this product on the water heater. It's been replaced twice due to propane leaks. There is no mistaking what propane smells like. Reading various articles online tells me that this product is not reliable. An online article quotes the manufacturer admitting that "a batch" of this product were deemed defective. Not comforting for homeowners. And if someone tells you that a little propane or gas is bound to leak and to expect that, well, that's B.S. Nobody expects to live with minor leaks of gas or propane in their home. I do not feel safe in my home with this product in use and will be going a different route soon.

I would buy this product again
Didn't have much choice but to buy this to replace the one that was leaking propane and attached to the water heater. However, I had a quality plumbing service on-hand to detach the faulty one and install the new one. The new product was exactly like the faulty one, fit perfectly, and is not leaking gas. I appreciate that Supply House expedited shipping. I was able to get it the next day and it was installed the morning after.
