Perfect replacement
Replaced the sensor on my ~1yr old AO Smith Hybrid water heater because the heat pump stopped working (apparently these temp sensor are a very common failure point and AO Smith won't send you a replacement part!)
The job to replace these is about 45 minutes and easily done by handy person
