Electronic Igniter for Wayne E, but wrong HV terminals!

I normally use Allanson Oil Burner Transformers for replacements, and this my first Electronic version Igniter. It works great, less power consumption, runs cooler and provides improved light-offs on an older Wayne OEA running at 1725 RPM, setup for constant (Intermittent) ignition. For these Wayne E Transformers and Igniters (620), for whatever reason, Allanson is supplying the same HV contact springs used on Beckett A, AF, AFG and S Model Burners, not the round metal brass or plated discs previously provided. In many applications, the side-hinge design is not proper for spring contact selection as they are too tight on the HV bus bars or get caught on one or both when attempting to re-open the compartment. I swapped out the springs right away and moved over the existing brass discs from the older transformer. A so much better fit. I had to fight one of the springs to get it off (stretch-deformation) and was concerned about possibly damaging that one HV terminal. Not pleased, Allanson! Please provide the proper terminals, or provide both sets (springs and discs) as an option to the installer for the 2721-620 and 2275-620, etc. Wayne E family of burners. Other than that, great product and as always, great service/fast delivery from Supply House. God Bless America and Canada! :-)

Exact replacement for existing 10KV oil burner transformer

2 Screws in the hinges, 1 lock down screw , 2 wire nut connections and its done!! Igniter rated @17KV, must make sure electrode assembly is clean, no soot, carbon build up as arc will run to ground. So much better than the old transformers !!!

Easy to install and works perfectly

It is much lighter and works better than the original Transformer for a Wayne EHA Burner.
