Transformer good, knockouts not good
Took me an hour to get this new transformer installed. 50 minutes fighting and cursing the knockout, 10 minutes to wire and bolt it up

This part was a life(boiler) saver for us and our family.
The boiler fired right up and now I can use the shower, dishwasher, and hot water at the same time again. IT STAYS LITE. Best Thanksgiven ever.

My hot air furnace is early 60's vintage. So I was extremely happy to find the original ignition transformer was being made by the original company. Hats off to PEX supply and to allanson for manufacturing quality stuff. My furnace is an american standard. I maintain it well. Only two hiccups in the 20 years I've been here. The shipping was very quick. The price could'nt be beat. Thanks again.

Replacement Ignition Transformer
It was exactly what i needed to replace the old ignition transformer. I have an old Arcoflame burner DH-5 (45yrs old). The old transformer connent to the burner had heat rotted rubber electrical connection wires.
When i was giving my annual maintenance to the furnace. I noticed that the electrical wires exiting the access hole from the transformer to it's juction box. Had the old rubber coating breaking off the wires. Worried about arcing, it needed to be replaced and repaired. Everthing just works fine now.
Future tip, tape up the wires completely with electrical tape to give it an extra resistance to the furnance heat.
