It did the trick
I had waterhammer going on in my house for quite some time after I had my water heater replaced by a man that took the one that was on it. I didn't realize what the problem was, but once I did, I ordered this product and it works perfectly. It was easy to install. I'm very happy.

Great product!
I had some really stubborn water hammer in my personal house that piston type water hammer arrestors couldn't handle. Installed a couple of these bladder style and it's a quiet as a church mouse. Now to see how long they hold up.

Bought a Second One
I bought the Diatrol 537 Shock Suppressor for the hot water going to the washing machine. I forgot to get one for the cold water as well; the rinses are cold water. They work great.

Very reasonable and it works
This is a super over-sized product, certainly not for residential use, but if you have special circumstance and have to fix water hammer without trial and error, this should be your go-to.
The craftmanship and paint finish exhibit very high quality.

Fixed a bad hammer shock
This product worked to get rid of a nasty pipe hammering that other typical hardware store hammer arrestors were ineffective. Also shipping quoted estimated time to arrive was next day which I thought was obviously a mistake but I was shocked the item arrived the day following the order

Best suppressor I ever bought
Tried individual inline suppressors on my Washing machine, dishwasher and ice maker lines. They worked for a while but then it was back to the banging pipes. Bought this and soldiered in a "T" fitting in my main water line just before my appliances and installed it. NO MORE BANGING PIPES !

I would if I needed it again.
I installed it on house water system and so far so good.I hade hammershocks and now are gone. Time will tell how long it lasts. The one I replaced was 15 years old.
