Bridge fit perfectly to replace cracked, broken original.
This unique molded plastic "Motor Bridge" is the middle part of three that support, position and shroud the heavy fan motor for this add-on Carrier 700 Series humidifier. The original broke from age and stress fatigue (over 20 years service). This 3-piece assembly must be removed annually to access & replace the underlying aluminum mesh that allows water to spread over its surfaces to be evaporated on demand into the forced air stream. The part fit perfectly. I recommend you save and clean the screws, nuts and the fan allen screw with an anti-corrosive such as Corrosion-X for proper reassembly. Care should be taken to correctly reposition the molded rubber vibration damper piece between the motor and the new Motor Bridge with only a hand snug fitment. Too tight stresses the plastic part that you are replacing. Too loose and the motor is not supported. I also recommend you take a couple up-close photos of the electrical connections with the electronic circuit board as you will have to remove and reestablish several connections from the power cord to the board and the motor in this process to insure the proper reconnection in this reassembly.

The atom fits just like original.
