New, Supply house recommended by AprilAir, no complaints.
Cheapest on the internet, wish AprilAir would have done a bench test of existing unit for me, but furnace put in ~2008 and AprilAir does not provide service going that far back. However, unit works and the AprilAir 5000 is the best possible air cleaner short of a HEPA filter, so we are happy. Wife has alergies so this is worth it. Also Supplyhouse technical support was very prompt on questions and warranty information (which is 5 years), so good.

This unit failed about two weeks after it ran out of warranty. Not recommended
