Great product, easy to install
A/C technician wanted to replace the whole damper just because of the motor, found this replacement and saved me +$450! very easy to install.
Description of the product is not very helpful but I used it for my 645 24V 60 HZ 6W 4RPM damper motor.

Can not replace a GVD Damper Motor
My GVD motor turns the damper counterclockwise and there is a note in the GVD damper and motor replacement that says never turn the damper in a clockwise direction.
The Aprilaire motor turns clockwise no matter how I connect it, I Tried reversing the connection wires, but it still turns clockwise.
I had to return it since it would not work for my damper which has to turn counterclockwise. Would have beem better if the description said this motor only turns clockwise.

It was easy to install. Read the directions before you install it. Supply house customer service was great, I had a question and they answered proficiently and even helped me get to the manufacturer for another question I had about the damper.

Easy to install, simple but elegant damper motor
This is the replacement motor for many of the damper products. I used this to replace the motor in the Aprilaire 6" Round Zone Damper (Normally Open/Power Close) SKU: 6606. This motor is an exact replacement. It was easy to install. It's been working fine for the month since I last installed it.

Beat the price of other supply houses by $100 per motor
Ordered four motors but only need one. Problem was damper belts were broken. Return the other three was no problem. Highly recommend dealing with them.
