This pump is designed for dedicated return in three-pipe plumbing installations. It automatically circulates water through domestic water pipes. This ensures that hot water is available instantly at every tap throughout a residence. Whit this recirculation pump, far less water is wasted each time a hot water faucet is opened. It saves an average of 12,000 gallons of water annually for a typical four-person household. This model is equipped with an Aquastat, which enables operation only when the sensed water temperature is below 85°F (25°C). Once activated, the circulator operates until either the water temperature reaches 105°F (41°C), or the current timed activation period ends. The pump is controlled by a 24 hour timer which allows homeowners to schedule delivery of hot water in 15 minute increments throughout the day. This model comes assembled, wired, tested and ready for installation. No electrician required for installation!
