Good way to control domestic water flow
I used this solenoid to make a deer scarecrow. I combined a RAB motion sensor with the relay. When the sensor detects motion at night, the solenoid turns on and starts a "rainbird" sprinkler. The area around the motion sensor gets soaked. Deer do not like this and it scares them off. So far, it has saved some gardens from getting eaten.
