They are yellow brass, roughly 40% zinc.
My company has a XRF (X-ray fluorescence) analyzer to determine material compositions, and results from that device on this 3/4x3/4x1/2 FIP brass tee showed it to be more of a bronze: Cu: 88% Sn: 4.8% Zn: 3% Si: 1.8% Bi: 1.5% P: 0.3% Fe: 0.2% Ni: 0.2% This measurement was for this tee procured from Supply House in January 2019, marked with "NSF61-4" (a lead-free standard), "MECH" (in the middle, perhaps the foundry?), and "LF". The opposite the side with the fitting size markings and "CHINA". My interest in this was concern about mating to 304L stainless steel on a Bell and Gossett heat exchanger (also bought from Supply House). My company's metals material and process guru recommended using a pipe dope with added PTFE (teflon) to ensure that the faying surface was properly coated to prevent a galvanic action. He specifically recommended use of Loctite 1527514 for this purpose.
TBNLT-12 is 2-1/4" end to end.
The 1" x 3/4" x 1" brass tee has a 1" connector in the middle. If you want 3/4" in the middle, you would need a 1" x 1" x 3/4" tee.
Yes, the Tee reads 3/4" (end) x 3/4" (end) x 1/2" (middle).
