Q: Does this product include a copper compression ring for inside the 1/2" threaded part.. and this is for adding a 3/8 pipe (flared) onto a 1/2" male thread correct? Like a ductless ac system

Verified Reply- SupplyHouse StaffHi Ryan. There is not compression ring included with this fitting. It is 1/2" female NPT and should be used with some sort of thread sealant. You would connect a 1/2" male thread to that side, and flare onto 3/8" pipe in an HVAC system.
