Hi Derrick! No this model would not be considered full port.
Yes, the gas ball valve may be used in an exposed outdoor installation.
The 1/2' Gas Ball Valve is intended for use with natural, manufactured, mixed, liquefied petroleum and LP gas/air mixtures.
No, but it is CSA and UL certified.
Hard to uncover, as Hydrovalve is a branding, probably Far East, not a manufacturer. However, It has right on it a CSA c us mark. That should do it. The local gas supply company installers & county inspector had no issues with them in my installation. From the CSA website: http://www.csa-international.org/certification_marks/ "CSA International has the #1 Marks in Canada and the only Mark You Need for the U.S." Joe
I looked up the AGA approval list and I didn't see this manufacturer listed..
It is CSA Canadian Standards Association... I don't recall the AGA American Gas Association Seal on it. Check with local inspector to see if it would be accepted..
Yes, it also is 600 wog instead of 300 like alot of them. Thank You, Sky Feaster, Master Plumber A Pipe Surgeon, Inc
These valves are NOT serviceable and can be installed either way, the knob can be rotated if needed. There is a seam, but the valve will not separate. Hope this helps.... That is why the flow is not indicated on the valve as you can use it either way.
The valve will operate quite satisfactorily either way. The left side as pictured has one less joint & thus one less opportunity for leaking, but the assembly joint that is on the right side is not going to leak either, so it makes no difference. Joe
It does not matter. These valves do not have an upside or downside. You can install them whichever way is most convenient for you to move the cutoff handle.
The side with the numbers on it is the pressure side - I checked two of my valves installed by the gas man. Mike
