PEX tubing is only rated for use with water, not compressed air.
Rifeng is pex B.
Bluefin is pex B.
they arent rated that way. but Rifeng pex is rated to 180PSI
Yes, This Rifeng tubing is approved for use with potable water systems.
PEX tubing should not be installed or left in a location with UV light for extended periods of time. The light will degrade and damage the PEX leaving it brittle and subject to failure.
Since it has some flexibility, PEX tubing has better freeze resistance than rigid pipe (copper, etc.). PEX can still burst, however, if water freezes inside of it. Although there is some extra leeway with PEX, we would never recommend allowing water to freeze in the lines. You should drain the system during the winter months.
Rifeng lists 160psi at 73F and and 100psi at 180F.
PEX tubing is safe for installation in concealed locations and under floors. It can also be buried outdoors. PEX is not rated for UV exposure, so it should never be installed in areas exposed to direct sunlight.
