No, this unit does not qualify for Energy Star status.
This unit can produce a maximum of 4.3 gallons of hot water per minute (depending on the temperature rise required). This is probably only enough for about one shower. You may want to look at a larger unit.
This unit would not be powerful enough to support that much usage. This would only be enough for one shower at a time. You might look into the Bosch 2400ES.
You will need an appropriate power venter. Please refer to page 9 of the Installation Manual ( http://s3.pexsupply.com/manuals/1297277984399/47089_PROD_FILE.pdf ) for more information.
The manufacturer does not recommend feeding this unit with pre-heated water. You may be better off with a Takagi unit.
You can install this unit in your crawlspace. We think that this model may be undersized for your project. The 2400ES may be a better choice.
It is not recommended by the manufacturer.
An LP Gas pressure regulator is included with the heater. Refer to pages 25 and 26 of the installation guide ( http://s3.pexsupply.com/manuals/1297277984399/47089_PROD_FILE.pdf ) for more information.
No, it cannot be. This unit is for indoor installation only.
It would not be just a drop-in. The Aquastar 125 has 4" venting, while the 1600P has 5" venting. You would need to change the venting on the unit.
Yes, just be sure to follow the installation directions.
