Q: Can this water heater be connected to hot water line which does not produce hot enough water, or it is strictly requires to be connected to the cold water supply. I live in a condo where there is one water heather for 8 units, that's why sometimes there is not enough hot water, will this heather be able to solve this kind of problem?

Verified Reply- PexSupply StaffBosch tankless water heaters can only be fed with cold water. As per the manufacturer's specifications, the maximum inlet water temperature this unit can handle is 86°F.
