Spotty Experience - Didn't work well
Installed 1st, and got about 3 years of service out of it and it worked well. After failing, I ordered a second to replace it (plug/& play), when it arrived however the "flow switch" didn't work. Had a limited time to replace the unit, and had to return it and use a small hot water tank instead. Lost installation time... Not happy that a new product could come with a basic feature not working. I tested it using multiple methods, but the flow switch wouldn't activate (unless I manually activated it). I do not recommend this product

Q: can i use this type the Powerstar 7.2 electric tankless to heat a 400 sq. ft. work shop for the infloor heat. Concrete slab is insulated underneath with 2" thick below grade styrofoam and 2" thick below grade styrofoam around the perimeter of conc. slab 2 ft. below top of the conc. slab. Also have 2x6 insulated walls.

While you may be able to use it for that purpose "piratically speaking", however BOSCH will tell you that it is not engineered for "pre-heated" recirculating water, and will refuse to offer you support.
