Aluminum Safe Antifreeze 5Gal, RHOGARD

We used 40 gallons of RhoGard heat exchanger fluid at 100% to thermally protect a home hydronic heating system. This protects against freezing to -60 F and burst to -100F. While it is never expected that this home will ever see these extremes it will occasionally see -20 F and the region has experienced several multi day to multi week long power outages in the worst of winter conditions. With RhoGard there is little to no concern of hydronic system freeze damage. Rhogard also has corrosion inhibitors to protect system component wetted surfaces including aluminum and stainless steel. With the system fully charged at 100% and 40 gallons there is assured system freeze protection for many years to come.
