Multiple repeat purchase
I purchase this rod every 3 years in my situation to replace the previous rod that's on it's last legs. Factory rod lasted 4. This will be the third one. It's a perfect fit, and the threads are pre-taped with teflon. Because it's a long, solid design, make sure you have ceiling clearance to install it. Else look for a model that's sectional and flexible. Mark the dates and model number (which changed this time) on your water heater for easy record keeping. Only real issue is the cost almost tripled over the last purchase.
