I use these rough brass stop valves for use inside cabinets when a plated version is not necessary or wanted. They are rebuildable with the kit available so complete removal is not necessary. They are compression for use with copper or also pex with an anti-crush insert sleeve to prevent it from blowing off of the weaker pex plastic tube.
My complaint with these Brasscraft ones would be that they have a weak plastic stem that when stuck over time can and will break if it sits untouched for years which is quite common.
The rubber seat washer can become brittle or weak over time especially on the hot side. This will cause it to crumble and block the flow to the fixture or dislodge and block the flow or render it unable to turn off but this is a common problem to any brand of stop valve.
