Does not fit Buderus AT300/2 top access port cover
This gasket was the recommended part on SupplyHouse.com for my Buderus AT300/2 top access port cover. It was about 3/4 inch too wide in diameter. Also quite a bit thicker, but that would have probably been okay - just didn't sit in the gasket seat correctly. I re-used the old gasket for now, but I'll keep looking for the right replacement, as the inside of this water heater has accumulated LOTS of rust, from a depleted anode rod.

Doesn't fit!
This gasket was the recommended part (recommended by SupplyHouse.com) for my Buderus ST200-2 indirect water heater access port cover. Upon further research by SupplyHouse, we found out that the gasket I need is no longer manufactured or available. It was recommended that I buy the "new design" access port cover and gasket (sold together) and that would solve the problem. I did not. My old gasket was in good enough shape and still resilient enough that after a thorough cleaning and lightly lubricating it with silicone grease I was able to reuse it with no leaks, thank goodness. Buderus recommends replacing the access port cover gasket after replacing the anode rod and or cleaning the inside of the tank. I think that's wise, I got lucky. Check with Buderus directly for parts compatibility with your specific piece of Buderus equipment.
