Perfect! Saved me a $450 service call
My boiler had been auto shutting off periodically for weeks. Coming into winter, I didn't want to have to deal with it not restarting when I reset it. (And I obviously knew there was an underlying issue that needed to be addressed). The winter before I had a service guy come out bc it wouldn't restart one day (I can't exactly remember the issue- something caked on/build up). But he said I was due to have the ignitor and rod replaced. He gave me an estimate for around $450 to replace them. I waited a year, started having issues, called to setup an appt to replace and they didn't call me back. I looked up how much the parts actually were and saw some reviews about homeowners fixing it themselves. I am somewhat handy and decided to give it a go. Worked perfect, easy fix and saved me over $300.

If you want economy, you have to pay for it. Our hi efficiency Buderus GB142 saves money on natural gas so you can spend it on parts! A Norton igniter made in Mexico for a European boiler costs nearly $90.00. For a part that should cost about $25.00. Like all igniters, it fails after a few years. Better keep a spare cause they don't have them at the hardware store. Glad they have them at SupplyHouse.

INCREDIBLE CO., STOCK EVERYTHING, SHIPS WITH LIGHTNING SPEED
UNBELIEVABLE HOW QUICKLY MY PARTS WERE SHIPPED OUT AND MORE IMPRSSIVE HOW QUICKLY I RECEIVED CRITICAL PARTS FOR MY BUDERUS GB142-45!!! TWO HEAT/AC PLUMBING COMPANIES CAME IN AND SAID MY BOILER IS JUNK, NEED NEW ONE NO GOOD BEYOND REPAIR!
WELL IT'S COLD IN UPSTATE AND THIS BOILER HASN'T WORKED SINCE END OF WINTER TILL NOW BECAUSE AT LIKE 10-12K FOR A NEW COMBI INSTALLED OR SIMILAR I JUST COULDN'T DO IT SO I STARTED TO SEARCH THE FAULT CODES AND GUESS WHAT; THE CODES TOLD ME HOW TO REPAIR THEM!! ORDERED MY 3 ITEMS>>> IGNITOR, HEAT SENSOR AS WELL AS INDUCTION MOTOR VENTURI, AND BOOM MY BOILER IS NOW WORKING PERFECT!! It Worked!
I purchased 2 replacement parts for my Buderus boiler. A Venturi and the hot surface ignitor. I was able to install both items with the aid of videos provided on the Bosch web site. It turns out the Venturi probably didn't need to be replaced, but the boiler worked fine after replacing the hot surface ignitor. I am very pleased with the product.

Our boiler had Buderus boiler was out of commission(no power to panel) for a week while we waited for our service company to order a circuit board for repair. Tha board was not the problem. I started looking at the problem and found a blown fuse, and what seemed to be an igniter with an open. Thanks to your overnight delivery, I had the igniter installed and the boiler heating up the next afternoon!!! I probably would still be waiting for heat if the service company had ordered the part through their channels!!!

Prompt shipping of genuine OEM parts
The Buderus GB142 I have is no longer made. So I bought these parts (Hot surface Ignitor & ionization electrode) to have on hand in case the boiler's parts failed. Not long after, I had an annual maintenance check-up & the original parts were ready to fail. I had the spares installed & the system works perfectly. Now I have to order a second pair for reserve. I'll get them from SupplyHouse.
