It works
The good news is that it fixed the problem and it's a fairly quick fix. Shut off the water, drain, replace, refill. This part is subject to clogging and needs to be removed to clean it. Mine was broken when I pulled it out. It's not very well made. The other problem is that it often triggers a leak in the air vent after you refill it. Not a very good design, but if you need it, it does the job.

Always my go to for hvac

Part I needed, Part worked.
Buderus literally has 0 reliable representation in our market. After local suppliers going all in on Buderus 10 years ago, bad customer service and reliability from Buderus chased away local suppliers from the product. Thankfully supplyhouse.com carries what we need to get through servicing the few remaining boilers we have out there.
