What good is a flapper if it don't FLAP ?
Sheesh, made in USA and still can't get a decent part ? While the hood is fairly beefy the "flapper" which is supposed to close when not in use and touted as "energy saving" doesn't CLOSE !?! I gave it a couple of flips by hand to see if it would settle in actually close....it did not. It also is 6" and I thought they're be a collar or some connection point but its just a HOLE !! A FLAT HOLE ? Now I need to find a take off collar or something so i can connect it to the 6" duct.
