L8148E1299 Electronic Aquastat Sensor for RV3-RV7 Boilers, 61306001

Well must be reamed to accommidate Honeywell RV3-RV7 thermostat. Did i hear you say, I dont think so !

My old controler had a problem with the circuit board and would not always work, I had to jiggle the jumper wires to get it to work. Apparently this is a common problem/defect with this controler. The new one was a perfect replacement, easy to change and works great so far.

Shows in the listing as being in a box. It was packed with my other purchase in a big box. No seperate box for the aquastat. Also I would have expected it to be shipped with the heat conductive compound.

I replaced the Aquastat for my Burnham Revolution Boiler after the previous Aquastat failed because of bad welds that came loose on the circuit board. Note: the product did last for 6 years. I gave this a 4 rating only because it was exactly as described at PexSupply, but I am concerned about the quality of this product overall. I believe Burnham is talking to Honeywell about improving their welds so they do not fail because of excess heat, although like I said last one was 6 years old, not sure if this one will last as long. Not many choices eitherway, time will tell.

Sometimes a person wonders if the part you are ordering off the internet is the "factory replacement". This aquastst was exactly as advertised, fit properly & makes my boiler run as it should.

Including shipping, I saved $90 compared to local supply houses. It fit like a glove!
