Good bargain to protect your appliances from too much pressu

Water companies comply with minimum pressure requirements but don't concern themselves with high pressure, but if you have water filters, washing machines, dishwashers or a refrigerator with cold water or an ice maker, they all are subject to damage if the pressure is over about 120 psi, or even spikes above that level. This is the solution for that at less cost than a service call to replace a refrigerator water valve and much less than it costs to deal with water damage from a leaking filter or appliance. Water companies could, but don't do a better job of regulating high pressure because it would cost them to install pressure regulators. My water company told me that they pump the water out at 175 psi to reach high points in the system and provide fire protection, so I'm left with doing it for myself. You should too if you have high pressure or spikes.

1st Valve FAILED, now 2nd Valve FAILED

I bought a Caleffi 535951HA pressure reduction valve - it failed within 6 months. SupplyHouse replaced if after I sent in the failed unit. The second unit failed within 3 months. This is simply a poor product, which is why it is so inexpensive. Clearly you get what you pay for. As you can see in the picture the PSI in the gauge is higher than the setting. Often the PSI is closer to 110, which is the city supply pressure we are trying to reduce.

Junk

I Have Installed Roughly 8 Off These Pressure Reducer And 3 Had Issues . I Just Had Another Customer Call Me To tell Me The Gauge Is Reading 100 Psi And It Was Just Installed 5 Months Ago. This Brand Is Costing Me Nothing A Headache Because Now I Have To Replace It At No Charge. I Will Now Have To Send Another One Back To Supply House And Will Never Install Another One Of This Brand. I'm Sticking With Wilkinson For Now On. I Only Tried This Brand Because It was Pro Press But The Issues Are Costing Me Money And Time.

Good quality construction everything functioned as intended

I purchased this valve has a direct replacement on top of the commercial dishwasher at your facility . Haven't had any issues functionally working as intended. I saw that there was some bad reviews and wasn't too sure, but on the other hand, this valve is being run at the highest temperature rating It's allowed to according to the specs 180°F fingers crossed I get at least a year out of it.

I bought it several times and love it

If you're using a process system and need to install regulator, plus you have a gauge built-in and included easy Peezy press press tighten the two unions and set the pressure. It's my go to for a PRV residential or commercial.

Easy install and working great

This product works as it should, There is a cover over the adjustment knob to keep people from messing with it. The product looks well made and went in without any concerns. The two unions are nice so it can be removed to be cleaned or replace easily. I would use it again.

Faulty

The Presentation Is Nice. I Like The Propress Unions And The Guage. With That Being Said I Have Installed 5 Of Them And 3 Of Them Have Had Issues. Including One In My Own Home. They Cannot Regulate The Pressure Adequately, Causing Them To Pulsate. The One In My Own House Is Allowing Pressure Spikes Of 150psi. I Have The Moen Flo And Get High Water Pressure Alerts Constantly. At One Of My Customers Houses, The Guts Even Blew Apart. Did Not Cause A Leak Fortunately But I Did Have To Go Back To Reassemble It And Then At A Later Date, As Problems Continued, Remove It.

Great PRVs!

I've installed a bunch of these PRVs since I discovered them earlier this year and they are great! Easy to install and I love the pressure gauge which makes it easy to adjust the pressure. Wish I could buy them by the case and get them cheaper!!!
