Don't Use these use Caleffi 1" silicone washer.
I put in about a dozen Caleffi pressure reducing valves thus far. They come with these fiber washers. They are very difficult to get a water, tight seal with, and in some instances impossible. Do yourself a favor, get caleffi high temperature, silicone rubber washer of the same size it will not leak and silicone rubber is very resistant to chloramines in portable water.

I DON'T KNOW WHERE YOU GET A ONE INCH MEASUREMENT FROM. THE IS ID 13/16 AND THE OD IS 1 3/16.
