Great idea, terrible product.
Purchased 6 of these, for 2 3 bay sink drain assemblies. Hand tightened, with a little pipe dope, during installation. 4 out of 6 leak at the swivel? Tighten more, changes nothing. Took everything out, at no charge to change manufacturers basket drains (thinking the drain threads weren't adequate) with 4 out of 6 leaking? Poor design. Changed flat washers for tee washers, no difference?

Perfect to eliminate slip joints
Used these to connect straight to my sink baskets and hard pipe the drain with dwv instead of using slip joint traps. 5/5 drain is solid now.
