My symptom was very high head pressure immediately upon scroll start up, 500psi+ then high pressure shutdown. This 2013 Bryant system was defective originally had the evaporator replaced in 2018 and it appears the techs who installed it didn't use nitrogen when brazing in the replacement evaporator and eventually it clogged the TXV.
The failed TXV has a Chatleff output that attaches to the Carrier evaporator, so you need part # 331831-701 to accomplish this. Since the new valve has a compression fiiting output one has to take the Chatleff adapter and create a compression fitting by cutting off the braze end, adding 3/8" compression nut and then flaring the adapter so you can attach the new TXV. Chatleff & gasket must screw on by hand to bottom out then tighten half turn, do not force on or the Aluminum evap. will be ruined.
