Needed to replace a burnt out fan motor on a Carrier A/C condenser. Glad to find exact Carrier replacement motor

Take a couple photos and it becomes a DIY replacement. 3 wires that unclip, clip. The only issue I have/had was the manufacturer or Supply House incorrectly recommended **Requires 45/10 MFD 370V Run Capacitor** which was incorrect information. The one I presently had was correct = 45/5 MFD 370V Run Capacitor. So I called Carrier to verify, since Supply House indicated they simply copy/paste details/info. from manufacturers. Carrier has no tech. that would answer any questions to a consumer. OK, that sucks. They referred me to 3 local Carrier dealers who could answer that simple question, 3 weeks later still waiting. So with the ** ** requirement, I ordered what was in print. With a couple more photos, that too is also DIY. Turned on, everything runs=all good. 10 minutes later, vent only no a.c.. Long story short-called A.C. tech. who verified all was hooked up correctly but was wrong run capacitor. Needed 45/5 not "required" 45/10. The 45/10 was overheating motor that has a safety overheat condenser shut off-thankfully. So, either Supply House or Carrier dropped the ball with the wrong info. that led me to spending an additional $200 for an unnecessary mistake on their part. PS Supply House has now amended that information to be correct.
