The EB45 Pressure Regulator features a half cartridge design that offers the performance of a high end, cartridge based valve and the price of a traditional regulator. The valve construction is similar to a traditional regulator in that it retains a separate spring chamber and adjusting screw, but offers the simplicity and maintenance benefits of a cartridge based valve. The EB45 comes factory set at 45 psi but may be adjusted between 10-70 psi.

Q: Does this pressure regulating valve needs to be mounted horizontally? My location affords a vertical mounting.

Verified Reply- Supplyhouse.com TeamSince it is spring loaded and doesn't specify orientation, I believe you should be fine mounting it vertically. As per the instruction manual: "Thoroughly flush the system before installing the valve. It is recommended that isolating valves be installed upstream and downstream to ease servicing the valve. Install the valve in an accessible location and orient to correspond with the direction of flow (as indicated by the arrow on the Valve Body – see inset Fig 1). Avoid stressing the valve by ensuring that inlet and outlet pipework are properly supported and aligned."
