Does the trick
Easily installs at the supply valve, stops the annoying hammering. Expensive but worth it for the lifetime warranty

Excellent I would install with every washer install.
This is actually the first time it has happened to me and it is probably the 10th set of washer and dryer hook up I have done but these new machines have faster acting selinoids for water shut off and causes a hammer affect in the pipes after these were installed no more noise, none!

eliminated water hammer from washing machine
installed on existing spigots in a minute. eliminated water hammer completely. it's a modern type HE machine that used little bits of water and it would hammer and effect other fixtures on the same branch off the main line. now it doesn't.

Excellent product
My other water hammer arrester was not very effective. I tried this other brand from SupplyHouse.com and actually doubled the arrester ( two on the hot and two on the cold) because I had a bad water hammer with my new washer. Now it is silent! I can not hear the pipes slamming like they used to. I could not be happier with the valve shutoff built in also.

Easy fix for a potential problem
I had purchased a new washing machine. The inlet valves close so abruptly that the "Water Hammer" effect shook the water pipes violently throughout the house. These were so easy to install and solved the problem immediately.
