So far, this is better than the original
Have a Delta touch kitchen faucet purchased a few years ago. Since the beginning, the "touch" aspect hadn't been what I had thought it should be. Then, the batteries started to be depleted in a short period of time. The replacement sent by supplyhouse turned out to be superior in function to the original. The "touch" became more what I had thought it should be. An added feature was that when the hot water was turned on, the blue light gradually changed to pink as the water became hotter and vice-versa became gradually blue as the water cooled back down on the cold side. I'm not a plumber and installed the item myself with the included instructions.

Product is defective but
Product came defective but these guys will make you jump through the hoops to get a replacement one. I buy solenoid and it's defective so they want me to call delta to trouble shoot and get case number also they want my plumbers name and his company's name and then they will replace one…. Seriously????? What a joke

Touchless faucet solenoid
OEM solenoid went out. Wanted another OEM so bought this. Far cheaper than Delta website or other dealers, brand-new, and works perfectly!

Good solenoid kit to fix touch faucet
This is a good kit to fix your touch faucet when the solenoid goes out. Our original solenoid only lasted a little over two years. It's fairly easy to swap out the original solenoid with this one. I could not reach the clip that attaches to the faucet threads, so I clipped the wire and spliced the new one onto it.
