No issues with install once I got the old sleeve off.

The service from supply house is excellent. This is the right fitting piece and is as described and a slightly better price than off of the delta website. It is shipped very quickly. The part itself is garbage. For a shower cartridge it is absurdly overpriced. It fails routinely as many other reviews have indicated. I am on my 3rd one in 4 years. After about a year water pressure (especially hot) declines. The issue is resolved upon replacing this part. Delta has received many complaints about this very issue and has done nothing to correct the issue. Disappointing considering the price it.

The price is the best I found anywhere and it's an OEM part that fits correctly. Save yourself time and money and keep one on the van.

Delta should stand behind its failures, if you are going to reinvent the wheel and fail, don't punish your customers with a very expensive wheel that does not last.

The Delta 17T series shower faucets are great- but incredibly difficulty to install and/or find details videos or instructions so plumbers don't always know how to install them... A few tips: 1) After installation, the temperature handle should be "all cold" when turned furthest clockwise... and get hotter as you turn the temperature handle counter-clockwise 2) If this is not the case, you will need turn the water to the house off, and "...take out the cartridge and turn it 180 degrees...". sounds simple, but if you were not the one to install it- beware- there are 2 cartridges- one inner cartridge held in by a brass screw and an outer cartridge... it is the outer cartridge that must be rotated 3) do not crack open the outer cartridge, else you probably will be paying for a replacement... it has two white ceramic discs that must be aligned just right, else all the appropriate functions will not work
