Description
Solenoid Valve/Regulator Assembly Kit
Solenoid Valve/Regulator Assembly Kit is an electrically controlled water control valve found in many drinking fountains. When a user presses the pushbar, an electrical signal is sent to this valve which opens and lets water flow for as long as the pushbar remains pressed.
This solenoid valve controls the flow of water. When the push bar is pressed, a switch behind the push bar sends electricity to this valve, which opens the valve and lets water flow. When the push bar is released, the solenoid closes and water flow stops.
If your water continues to flow after you release the push bar, unplug the drinking fountain from the wall. If the water continues to flow after the unit is unplugged, you have a bad solenoid. Once the solenoid valve goes bad it must be replaced.
