The plastic coated band hanger protects the pipe from the steel surface of the hanger and is designed to reduce noise, vibration and prevents electrolysis between pipe and the hanger. Stainless steel hangers are recommended for applications where protection from corrosive environments is needed.
- Approvals: Complies with Federal Specification WWH-171-E (Type# 7), A-A-1192A (Type# 7), Manufacturers’ Standardization Society SP-58 and MSS SP-69 (Type# 7).

Hanger 18
I couldn't find this simple product anywhere in my area. They all had the cheap plastic "J" type hooks and just a couple other types but no hanger type like the pear shape. Needed them to hold a PVC drain pipe that was replacing a long copper one that became paper thin and developed some holes. It has to span a good distance and I wanted something that was heavy duty. Supply House had it and shipped it right away! Thanks Again!
