Sprinkler head cages
These chrome cages bring peace of mind. In my adult foster care home an accidental bump of a sprinkler head inside a closet or hallway while cleaning or storing, would be a costly mistake. Their strong and easy to install. The only issue is...some sprinkler heads are a bit recessed making applying the cage possible only by improvising and attaching the cage to the wall.

This Product works great.
The size is great. They are easly adjustable with a small pair of pliers. The clips are hard to manipulate with just your bare hands. Pliers and channel locks make it much easier. Other than that, The chrome really classes up the room and ceiling both.

Q: Can these be installed on a finished ceiling? In other words, after the drywall has been installed, will these still fit over the sprinkler head?

Verified Reply- Yes, these guards are designed to be placed over the sprinklers after install and can be done without any tools. Spread the cage open just enough to clear the sprinkler frame and deflector being careful not to damage the sprinkler. Engage the open end of the cage at the base of the sprinkler between the frame and the threads. Reengage both hooks on either side of the sprinkler.
