Model 7000 HVAC Wiring Extender

Upgraded a homeowner from conventional A/C to heat pump and this worked in a pinch. We had no access to run new wire to the thermostat or outdoor unit. Its been months and zero issues so far.

I used the Fast-Stat 7000 to provide full functionality to my newly installed dual-fuel heat pump and furnace installation. I only had 5 wires from the thermostat to the furnace and two wires from the furnace to the heat pump. With the 7000, I am able to fully utilize two stages of heat and cold each from the heat pump and two stages of auxiliary heat from the furnace. Perfect! (I have the dual-fuel setup, because the electricity rates in San Diego are outrageous and the natural gas rates are usually very low, and I wanted the ability to choose which way SDG&E overcharges me in the future depending on the cost of either gas or electricity).

Worked amazingly. Had a 4 wire system. Was able to use that same wire and install a Mr Cool universal 4/5ton heat pump.

In my son's Condo in Greenville NC , they have Split System HVAC but the thermostat 7 wires do not go outside to the compressor but they only have 4 wires going out from the 2nd Floor Condo to outside. How do you send 7 wires using the existing 4 wires. Then you can use FAST-STAT 7000 that uses Multiple Voltage levels on a Single wire. FAST-STAT has a Sender and a Receiver unit. Sender unit will take 7 wires and put out 4 wires AND the receiver unit will convert back 4 wires to 7 wires. I only used 2 wires out of 4 to send the thermostat 7 wires to the compressor/Heat-Pump. The unit comes with Complete detail Wiring Documentation, so I was able to follow the instructions and use it. Be Aware the OLD School HVAC Technician do not know anything about it. You have to find the right person to install it if you are not familiar with Wiring the HVAC. It comes with Warranty and the Company will answer technical Questions.
