Not balanced
It doesn't look like this fan has been balanced. My purpose was to quiet the power vent by stopping vibration from a fan that lost its balance weights. Replacing it with an unbalanced fan won't gain me anything.

Q: Can anybody tell me if the wheel is supposed to be fully fused to the hub? i have a 3 yr old unit that isn't and its making a lot of noise. Not sure if it came un-fused, or that is the design (and it just needs to be lubricated)

I'm not sure exactly what you mean. The blower wheel is all one solid piece, hub, sides and fins. all solid. It attaches to the motor shaft with an Allen screw. As I recall, one of the fins has a slight cut-out through which the Allen wrench goes to tighten it to the shaft.

Q: I took the little screw out that is holding the blower wheel to the motor shaft but I still can't get the blower wheel off. Its kind of stuck. Any advice?
