Typically, this is connected to a control box, sold separately. When there is a call for heat, for the burner to run, the control box triggers the power Venter to run. As soon as the control establishes the Venter is running, the burner(also connected to the control) is triggered to start. Peter Watson Watson Research

Yes you can I believe this unit is sized for up to 125000 Btu's Sent from my iPhone
I installed it a few years ago but I believe you just screw the oversized square piece into the outside wall. Attaches with 4 screws. Screw holes are visible in picture. There is no bracket. Brian
This vent unit attaches through the wall. There is a nail / screw hole in each corner of the square metal flange to attach it to the outside wall.
Yes. There is another panel for the inside of the house, where you basically sandwich the venter and the inside bracket together. There will be a hollow space around the pipe going through the wall. Directions are easy to follow and as a home DIY'r, I did this replacement in less than an hour. Be sure to put a few drops of oil in the "oil here" spots under the outside cover before you finalize the install, and to oil it annually to ensure proper working order. Good luck!
The bracket is attached to the power venter. It is shown in the picture as the square stainless steel plate. It also comes with a thin plate to put on the other side of the wall once installed. You mount it to the wall using the 4 holes already punched into the steel plate
I believe the control must be purchased separately
The power venter does not come with any controls. You must order those separately.
The manufacturer does not recommend it, as this part has not been tested on solid-fuel appliances.
No
This power venter has not been tested by the manufacturer to be used in a coal stove application. It is only for use in gas or oil heating applications.
