Description

This product may be used with more than one appliance with the addition of a CK-81 Control Kit. The CAS unit mechanically draws air into a structure and disperses it near the combustion air intake of an appliance. If an optional Vacuum Relief Valve (VRV) is used, the incoming air is tempered before entering the structure's airspace. Refer to Diagram A and B for guidance in setting up the CAS system based on the size and length of the connecting duct-work and the input rating of the appliance.

Perfect for intended/advertised application.
Supply House had the best price available on this Field Controls CAS 4jr "Fan in a Can" makeup combustion air fan; plus fast free delivery.
There was/is a bit of confusion/ inadvertent misinformation on their product page, but a quick phone call clarified the details that this was the model I wanted. The page 'heading' is accurate not the text body. It's 24v,110k BTU, 4".
The only improvement I would make to the product is possibly a 'flap' in the intake hood sleeve to slow cold air infiltration when off.
